50 Days Of Alcohol Free Life: Getting Amazing!
The 50th day — a milestone that once felt impossibly distant. I feel genuinely amazing about reaching this point.
The 10-Minute Rule
Sure, there are moments when the urge to grab a beer surfaces, but then I remember the truth: alcohol only works for about 10 minutes — unless you keep chasing that feeling with more doses — and the craving dissolves.
Plus, when I really think about the taste... ugh. Zero Coke has become my drink of choice — it's like discovering the nectar of the gods.
Energy and Movement
I can't claim to have unlocked any superpowers, but it certainly feels that way — boundless energy, constant movement, and a snowball effect of positive changes rolling through my life.
Life Improvements
Most notably, I've witnessed significant growth in my social media presence and indie projects, along with a crystalline understanding of what I want to accomplish with my life.
The most profound change is having abundant space and energy for long-overdue life transformations, coupled with the genuine desire to make them happen.
Mindset Revolution
My mindset has undergone a complete overhaul — more positive, more forward-looking. I have this renewed sense of possibility, like I can see the future I want and actually know the steps to get there.
From Numbness to Gratitude
I don't know about you, but as I've gotten older — weathering more of life's inevitable storms — I've felt increasingly emotionally... muted. Like I was just going through the motions, not truly experiencing life.
But lately, I've been rediscovering gratitude — that "Hey, I'm actually living a pretty fascinating and meaningful life" feeling.
There are constant travels, stimulating conversations, connections with people both online and offline, fresh ideas bubbling up, and a genuine hunger to bring them to life.
The Good Kind of Stability
There's no suffocating sense of routine — just the beneficial kind, like consistent morning rituals and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Problems with Solutions
Of course, challenges still exist — but now I can see pathways to resolve them. Life doesn't always unfold perfectly — but that's just life. What matters is steady, intentional progress, and everything will fall into place.
Perspective from Taipei
Right now, I'm in Taipei, and the infrastructure here for people with disabilities is remarkable. I see many people with disabilities living full, active lives in public spaces.
That's the key insight — they're always there; it just depends on whether society creates an environment where they can participate fully and visibly.
Beyond feeling empathy, I often catch myself thinking, "and here you are, feeling sorry for yourself, even though you're healthy with endless possibilities?"
I'm not saying we should minimize our struggles or settle for less (we should absolutely address our challenges and prioritize our health!) — but sometimes it helps to pause, breathe deeply, and remember: I'm alive, I'm okay, and we keep moving forward.
I'm alive, I'm okay, and we keep moving forward.
50 days complete! Life is getting amazing with renewed energy, clearer goals, and a sense of gratitude. The journey from survival mode to thriving mode is real and beautiful.
